Desktop Theme for Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95

Note: All the "wav" files contained within this theme were saved using "MPEG Layer-3, 48kBit/s, 22.050 Hz, Stereo". To utilize the sound files you must first have a compliant MPEG Layer-3 player installed on your system. Click here to see if you have MPEG Layer-3 support installed. If you don't have Layer-3 support you have only to download Microsoft Netshow 2.0 Player. Most theme designers today are using MPEG Layer-3 on their sound files enabling them to provide high quality sound files without the reduction in sound quality.

Theme Installation: This winzip file has retained location information to make the installation process run a bit smoother. Extract the contents of the file into your root directory [ in most cases this will be c:\ ]. A file will be created with the default location of -- c:\program files\plus!\themes\Unreal. Open your Theme utility and make the appropriate choice for your screen resolution (i.e 800x600). Apply Settings.

Startup Screen Installation: If you plan to keep backups of your current logo's just rename them (i.e logo.backup). Copy and paste logo.sys ----> c:\ Copy and paste logow.sys and logos.sys -----> c:\windows Future plans are include a batch file to both install as well as make backups of current startups.
