               *******I. GENERAL INFORMATION *********
This theme was created to commemorate the reunion of all
original members of one of the greatest bands of all time,
Night Ranger. Their live shows are even better than their CDs,
and I've seen them live every time they've been in the Los
Angeles area. What's even better is that they're a Bay Area
band, and that's where I was born and raised. So, needless
to say, this band triggers a lot of good memories, and they've
produced a lot of great music. You will find information about
installing this theme below.

This theme is FREE to anyone who loves Night Ranger. There are,
 however, some restrictions on the disbursal of the theme. If you
 have a web site with themes, the restrictions section is
particularly important to read. Please see the restrictions
at the bottom of the page.

First, I would like to thank some people who helped with the
creation of the theme.

VERTICAL PHOTO: Cidney, whose other closeup photos of Night Ranger can
    be seen at Kyle's web site. (Cidney, I'm jealous!)
HORIZONTAL PHOTO: Gail, wherever you are, who also has photos at Kyle's
    site.
SOUND CLIPS: Thomas Hoeifors' Night Ranger Fanpage,
    http://home.sn.no/~nintendo/nr/nr.htm (thanks for making it
    possible to find Jeff's solo CD and for the excellent history)
GENERAL HELP: Kyle Davis' Night Ranger Web Site, http://www.prion.com
    where you can find some excellent Night Ranger info and pictures
    posted by fans.

OK... here is the important information for the majority of people
who have downloaded this theme.

~~~~~~~~ II. INSTALLING START UP AND SHUT DOWN SCREENS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
START UP AND SHUT DOWN SCREENS: There are startup and shutdown screens
with this theme, but they will NOT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL. The reason
for that is because your default Windows files would be overwritten,
and if you uninstall the theme, you'd be stuck with the startup and
shutdown screens. So, here's what you do:
1. From within Windows, move your C:\logo.sys file to a safe place.
2. From within Windows, move your C:\Windows\logow.sys file to a
   safe place.
3. Copy the logo.sys file to C:\windows, and logow.sys to your
   Windows directory.
From within Winzip, you can highlight these files one at a time with
your mouse and unzip them to the proper directories AFTER you've moved
your original files. Then highlight everything else and unzip those
files.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ III. INSTALLING THE THEME ITSELF ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Uninstall to the subdirectory of your choice. Install through
the Control Panel or by double clicking on the .theme file itself.
As designed, this theme is for 800x600 screen resolutions. If you
are using 640x480, choose that theme file :)

Remember, you have to MANUALLY move the logo.sys and logow.sys files.

The Night Ranger.theme file itself is set up to detect your default theme
directory no matter where it is located.

~~~ IV. WHAT TO DO IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY OVERWROTE YOUR LOGO FILES ~~~
1. Don't panic.
2. Connect to my theme site at http://www.debbiesthemes.com. You
   will find the Windows default logo files there for download.
   (They're not there now since I'm getting a bigger and faster
   virtual server, but will be soon, so if they're still
   not up when you need them, I'll email them to you)
~~~ V. WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT THE DEFAULT WINDOWS THEME BACK ~~~~~
                      AND YOU DELETED IT

1. Don't panic.
2. Connect to my theme site at http://www.debbiesthemes.com.
   You will find the default Windows theme there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VI. A SPECIAL PLEA -- PLEASE HELP ME! ~~~~~~~~~~~~
In my quest for my advanced educational degrees and career
stuff, I have lost track of people whom I never should have
lost track of. People whom I love very dearly, and who deserve
an apology for lack of communication while I was working full
time and going to school full time (at the same time :).
If you are still young, don't ever lose site of the really
important things in your life, and that is other people. The
friends you make later in life will NEVER be as special as those
who share your youth and you can't believe how easy it is to
lose track of people you love dearly.
At any rate, I would appreciate your help if you know any of
these people. The women's names might be changed:
Vivian Crane Gockley- She's almost 44 now. Originally from Santa
Cruz, CA, but grew up at the Masonic home in West Covina after the
age of 12 or so. Vivian has tons of brothers and sisters, mostly
in the Seattle area. Joe, Doug, & Terry are some siblings.
There's no guarantee that Vivian's last name is still Gockley.
Her maiden name was Crane. Her birthday is 7/4.
Crystal Gockley- Vivian's daughter. Born September 30, 1970 in
the Bay Area.
Craig Gockey- Crystal's father. He'd be almost 46 now. He grew
up down the street from me in San Mateo, CA, but moved to the
Masonic Home in Covina at around 13 or 14. Birthday 8/17.
Robin Gockley- Craig's sister. Gockley is not her last name anymore.
Last I heard she got married to a dentist and moved to Carpenteria,
CA. Birthday 10/17.
Lori Gockley- Gockley is not her last name either. She's been married
several times, so I have no idea of her new last name. She probably
lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho as is around 44. Birthday is in April.
Penny Horwith- Horwith is not her last name anymore. She is originally
from La Canada, CA. She got married and moved to Northern California
years ago. She has a daughter in her 20's by the name of Shanti.
She's almost 49. Birthday is 10/30.
The good news is that if I find any one of these people, the chances
are good that I will easily find the rest :) THANK YOU FOR READING
THIS THROUGH!
Also, thanks Ralph Nice, from San Mateo, for being a friend. I
wish we talked more the few times we've seen each other over
the last 40 years. (This is the end of my important people
list :)
