Thanks for downloading the Hacienda del Mar, Puerto Rico Desktop Theme.
This theme contains sounds, icons, animated cursors, wallpapers and theme files. To load the theme, just follow these steps:
Once the file is unzipped, it created a directory called HHdM. This directory contains all the files you need. More than likely, the directory should be in your themes directory. Depending on your themes program, this may be C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes, or it may be another directory. If you use Connectix, as an example, the directory is probably C:\Connectix\Connectix Desktop Designer\Themepacks.
The only real decision you have to make is which wallpaper to view. All the wallpapers look the same, but there are 3 sizes (640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768) and 2 formats (jpeg and bitmap). The theme files, all in the HHdM directory for now, are named as follows:
Assuming you don't want to change your current settings and you're not sure which to use, here's what you should do (Note that theseinstructions are specific for Windows 95, yours may be slightly different): Click Start->Settings->Control Panel
Doubleclick on Display
Click on the Settings tab
Move your cursor over your desktop and click the RIGHT mouse button. You will see a little pull-down menu. The first item is labeled "Active Desktop". Click on it. There is an item labeled "View as Web Page". Is there a check mark? If so, you should select a file for a jpeg (marked J), otherwise pick a bitmap (marked B).
OK, now that you know which file to pick, simply copy or move it - using Windows Explorer or My Computer - out of the HHdM sub-directory and into your Themes directory.
