Pros:
There's a whole bunch of stuff in this package. Not to
encourage non-theme related material in a theme but this package
contains a cool skin for WinAmp, a System Meter utility, lots of extra
theme icons and alternate bitmap wallpaper sizes, all enclosed in
separate zip archives. The basic theme itself is simply outstanding
and comes in a self-extracting zip for very easy installation. The
author actually converted this Gnome theme from a windows shell
replacement program called Litestep so that all us standard shell
users can enjoy it as well. It's a little difficult to explain here
but you can read more about this Gnome theme conversion and the
Litestep program in the author's readme.txt file.
Cons:
Some users may find the extra non-theme related parts a waste of their
download time if they do not use those program associations. It may be
better to reference the extra parts in the readme.txt file and provide
URL download links to make these downloads optional instead of just
zipping everything up into one package.
Overall:
The Theme Doctor had something to do with this theme update, which is
not something I normally do. However, I think you'll agree that it was
worth it.
